A sample mission
Thread a strap through a buckle
Guide a fabric strap through a metal buckle, pull it snug and close the clamp. The brief tells you exactly what to capture, so the clip is useful from the first frame to the last.

A specific brief
Each mission names the objects, the action from start to finish and the camera setup.

Recordings are checked against the brief. Clips that miss the action or show private details are rejected.

Why it matters
Robots need examples of the exact thing they will do
Everyday handling varies more than it looks. A strap slips, a drawer sticks, the same cup sits on a different counter under different light. Targeted demonstrations of those interactions, in many homes and workplaces, including the moments where someone recovers from a mistake, are hard to find in general video.
Human video complements data collected on robots, adding variety in tasks, objects and settings. Research such as Physical Intelligence's work on human-to-robot transfer explores how the two can be combined.

What is a mission?

Contributor registration is open. Create an account, complete onboarding and have your camera setup reviewed. Each paid mission states its brief, usage terms and reward terms before you record.
Who uses the data?
The plan is to license reviewed datasets to robotics teams that need examples of specific tasks.
How would contributors be rewarded?
Each mission will publish its reward terms before you record. HANDO plans to pay accepted contributions in stock tokens on Robinhood Chain. Applying does not require a purchase.
